The only way we'll get to a sane place is by changing the federal system so that the minority can no longer rule the majority. Get rid of dark money. Get rid of gerrymandering. Get rid of Trump cult. I don't have fully formed proposals to do any of the three. The Democrats can't even get an infrastructure bill passed. Maybe we just let the Republican party continue cannibalizing itself while spreading disinformation to the ignorant masses that vote for it. I've been stockpiling essentials and drawing up various escape plans.
