It is important to remember that the 2025 project goals aren't restricted to a re-elected President Felon. They are directed to "the next conservative administration," and won't go away just because President Biden wins in November. This fight will go on ad infinitum as well as ad nauseum.

I hate it too, but we can't afford to make the post-Watergate mistake of saying "problem solved" again.

A grim report about the fascist domestic terrorist force that the GOP has become under the influence of Herr Donald, but what these arrogant insurrectionist bastards don't anticipate is the hostile reception they will face if they actually get to implement their demented plans. America will look like Gaza if Trump gets back in the White House. Thanks for the reminder, but I think we, the people, will prevail in this ugly war started by the Republicans against all that is decent and beneficial for the common good. If not, we'll surely die trying.

What an unthinkable nightmare this would be and tragic in the eyes of the world as we were once at the forefront of educating and helping train people in developing countries for access to safe reproductive health to help lower infants' and mothers' rates of mortality.

"Ethically unthinkable" applies perfectly to all of these Republican attacks on women and their bodies! 😠

Scary stuff, Bill! The ironic (more aptly, "moronic") reality of this aspect of Project 2025 is that its proponents would deprive women of the ability to avoid pregnancy, require them to complete the pregnancy (regardless of cause, viability, or adverse outcome), and then not support the mother or resulting child afterwards.

I will agree with its proponents on one thing, but for vastly different reasons. I hate the word, "abortion," and think it should be stricken from our vocabulary. Not only is it a rallying cry for Pro-Life folks, but it just has very negative connotations. I realize some would argue that it's just semantics or "calling a spade a spade," but words matter. You may recall my piece on this subject from a year ago, "Pro-Choice is a Big-Tent Proposition."
