York was also well represented! From the York Historical Society up to the Soldier - at least 200 on both sides of the road. Love all the hand made signs!
Fantastic turnout Bill. The smaller cities and towns have has impressive turnouts and that just fires up my soul. My rebellious spirit was with you, Bonnie and the rest there.
Yes, our local communities are where we need to be out front. Good people everywhere are feeling the time is now. To live in this free country is such a blessing every day. BUT, I have hung my flag upside down over my front porch as a sign of my distress over the leadership we have today. Maybe the silver lining is this connecting again through our resistance to everything Trump and Musk represent. “CHARACTER and FACTS matter” was one of my favorite signs. We all must stand up.
Glad you felt valued and energized on a cold, raw day. The numbers exceeded expectations. Now if only a quarter of those protestors who are registered voters take the time to write the Republican Representatives and Senators from the red states, maybe, just maybe action will take place.
I don’t know why Drump has such a strong hold on them, but surely something must be done
Thanks, Bill, Kudos to all the Hands Off protests. Ours in Sacramento at the State Capitol west steps was a little larger, around 14,000. As you pointed out a lot of gray hairs early. but the younger people started showing up later.
That first photo is priceless. I'm going to make signs for my grandkids to carry next time. It is definitely "time to use our outdoor voices".

We stood outside in the cold rain, but it was worth it! We were among 6,000 people and MANY cars driving by, honking in support.
Someone said to you that the protests won't change anything unless Congress does something, but if enough people come out, I believe they will.

Love your photos and take, Bill🇺🇸💙👍
“I do remember protesting something in high school. Can’t remember the issue!”
Vietnam…I hope.
It would have been. But when I was in HS we hadn't sent troops into combat yet. The big horrors were a few short years away.
Got it. I came along in the next wave.

Well done. Keep on using outdoor voices.
Thanks, Bill.
"The fury and frustration with an administration gone wild..." I disagree— they are following their fascist agenda.
Btw, I love your hat. Who made it?
I bought the hat here: https://www.soutfits.com/collections/gulf-of-mexico?lang=en
The tracking updates indicated that it was shipped from Italy.
Thanks, bought one!
