Redeems itself
Many of us on Substack have bemoaned various headlines from the New York Times. We have been appalled by what appears to be “sane washing” of Donald Trump and an astounding disregard for his abuses. I need not list them.
Many of you have cancelled your New York Times subscriptions in anger. How could the most influential “newspaper” in the world actually portray Trump as a legitimate candidate for president? Why doesn’t every article call him out for his lies and indecency?
Today the editorial board of the Times laid out the reasons why Donald Trump should not regain the presidency - with cold, hard facts. The board also fully endorses Kamala Harris (with some mild criticisms).

It's high time The NY Times came to it's senses!! Now START reporting on Trump for real! His garbled, meandering, lie-filled hate filled speeches need coverage!
I'm glad the NYT editors back Kamala, but really the coverage of Trump and Vance, as though they were typical candidates, is beyond belief. The piece from yesterday covering how Trump is a mentor to Vance?? That was beyond creepy, making it sound like a father-son relationship. I am so disgusted by them (NYT) Coverage is abysmal puff pieces and gauzy looks at those monsters😡
