Listening to (liberal) local talk radio today and one theory was that this was the campaign's effort to woo the suburban woman who believes in freedom of choice. I find that a stretch - Melania doesn't nominate Supreme Court Justices, last I checked.
Regardless, I think it will do more damage to Trump than good. The Bible Bigots (the Bible isn't the problem, it's the use of it as bludgeon) will surely be freaked out. "Potential First Lady Trump is a baby killer!"
This is the woman who wore the jacket with I DON'T CARE AT ALL on the back during the trip to...somewhere I can't remember.
I trust her as far as I can throw her. (I am 5' 3"...so not far!)
I suspect she has an agenda. Possibly an attempt to get her husband, whom she needs to maintain the lifestyle I believe she loves, some sympathy votes from the Pro Choice contingent. If he loses, he is going to be even nastier than he is now. If that is possible.
With all that is happening in the world this item will be buried quickly. My guess is that it will have the same impact as the VP debate. Not much.
I think for every advocate of women's rights that she collects, she will lose a Bible thumping anti choice person.

There are several that I know of who are going to vote for Kamala Harris. Prejudice is harmful wherever it's found, and especially so when it's based on fear rather than facts. It is incumbent on all of us to do whatever we can to ensure the best possible outcome 33 days from now, including the whole ballot.
