Well done Bill, and family and friends. Our nation isn't stolen yet, and won't be as long as we stand together and say NO.

Oh Bill, you have done it again!

Bravo and thank you for posting this.

In Norwalk Connecticut (of all places!) there were hundreds marching yesterday.

Horns honking, and the town green filled with marchers who had finished...those hundreds of people standing, sitting, and lying on the grass TALKING. Good for the head, the soul, and everything else.

But...not enough yet.

David Brooks (Thursday's NYT...which I am still angry with) had a vitally important message: We have to consolidate. I think he is right. We are fighting so many different things at once...so many individual messages.

Not sure how to do it, but it has set my mind to thinking.

Okay. Long winded. It's genetic. My mom was a talker.

Happy CHOCOLATE Day to all.

And...keep writing!

Hope your back is feeling better, Bill. Not for me to say, but I’ll say it anyway: it was worth it. Well done.

Your country thanks you! I thank you! This spontaneous resistance is more accurate than any poll, IMHO.

Nice, Bill! Inspiring too! I must confess that I copped out, but I had plenty of excuses (nothing within 50 miles, jet-lagged, respiratory issues, never-ending bathroom project, nobody to go with, etc.). I did, however, offer some sign ideas on my Substack that may have helped others. I'm going to work on some more, and try to make them fancier and printable. I promise to try harder to personally make the next day of protest.

You are inspiring, Bill. We have a demonstration here in town on Saturday. It's a Mayday march but why isn't it on Thursday? IDK but all my info says Saturday so I will show up on Saturday with either a sign from one of the previous marches or maybe I will get fired up for a new sigh. I don't know if it matters but I can't NOT go.

Thanks for commenting. I have not been a protester - until now. And I agree, I have to do something. I would do it every day if I had a younger back.

There are people who stand out for justice - even without a planned event. Everything adds up. If I get just a few people to think about my sign on any given day, I have stimulated conversation - that could be carried home and continued.

It all matters. Millions of us, over time, combined with the horrible bad news pouring out about the madness will wake up the sleepy public.

Today, it was announced that GDP since January has DROPPED! Here we go down the slippery slope to recession and pain for everyone except the very rich. OY.
