Absolutely! I am tired of AOC being characterized as "extreme " or "too progressive"!

I call her straight up normal. Humane and courageous.

Agreed. Great bit from the next Ranking Member of the Oversight Committee. Hate to see Gerry Connolly go out that way, but at least we have a more than competent replacement.

Excellent !

“ A guy comes along. He heals the sick, criticises the wealthy and suggests that we all be nice to each other, and so the Romans string him up. And the moral? Well, you didn’t have to be a genius, did you? And that, judging by the results over the intervening centuries, had been the lesson they’d taken to heart. Screw the sick, suck up to the rich, stomp on your neighbour and you’ll avoid the gallows. Just common sense, really.”

Is it me or is it mostly men behind the war machine? I still think women should be in charge. #sorrynotsorry

I have long maintained that men have made a mess of our world for much too long. Time to give it over to women, for sure!

Thought experiment: Imagine the world if Hillary had served for 8 years and Kamala was now president.

I think Putin would have thought twice, the Earth would be less warm and the rule of law on solid ground. Better health care, better education, everything better.

Yup.

Weeelllll... From the portrait I suspect the Flying Spaghetti Monster might very well be female as has long been suspected. Not everyone's offspring meet all one's hopes and expectations however.

And if Lennon’s anthem doesn’t quite get you there, I commend to you Mark Knopfler:

Great farce, Bill. I think I'm in love with Frank! "Sharing can be fun and satisfying. Peace is better than war. Boiling the seas and lakes has some irritating side effects " The advice is mind blowing.

I'll tell Frank of your affection - if I ever see him again. I think he may have given up on Earth. But you never know...

I told him that I am an experienced inn keeper. And there would always be a room at our place if he visiting again. Free wi-fi, Netflix on the TV and a private bath. Breakfast included! King size bed (must share with Sophie the dog).

Really, really good one Bill (and Frank). At least part of the reason for the Abandonment of Reason is that the wealthy folks who profit from war don't have to fight in them and really don't often lose much even if their 'side' comes out on the short end. Witness the ongoing existence of the Southern oligarchy in this country, the economic rise of Germany and Japan after WWII, Vietnam after that mess, and China once they rid their system of Maoism.
